Cyanotypes

Much of my recent and current work has focussed on the archival process of cyanotype printing. This is reflected both in personal practice and teaching work. The process of creating Cyanotypes (sun pictures) using botanical specimins promotes the exploration and engagement with the natural world, creating stunning archivally permanent artworks. For students who experience barriers to learning and cognition, it offers simplicity of approach, and produces a stunning artwork that creates a link with the environment in which it was created.
